3 AXIS CNC MILLING
In 2017 we ordered our first machine. A brand new HAAS VF-4SS CNC mill. While most of my career has been spent running parts on 3 axis CNC mills, I figured this would be a great foundation for starting my own machine shop. The mill has been a really good machine so far and I'm so thankful we started with a little larger machine. It has allowed us to take on jobs that otherwise would have not been possible with the smaller machines.
5 AXIS CNC MILLING
In 2018 we added 5 axis CNC milling capabilites to our offerings. It was apparent that in order to stay competetive and continue to deliver parts on time, we needed to reduce setup times and eliminate the added opportunity for error that traditional setups entail. It didn't take long at all to recognize the value of our investment.
LATHE WORK
After startup, we soon needed to provide lathe work. In 2019, we purchased a new Citizen L20. This is a 6 axis Swiss lathe with capacity up to 20mm. We run this machine 24 hours a day. It has been such a great performer, we added another Citizen, an L12 in 2020. Also a 6 axis Swiss lathe with capacity up to 12 mm that runs around the clock. MOLD WORK
We can take care of your mold work too. We've built carbon fiber molds, injection molds, and lost foam molds. If you have ideas for mold work, we're happy to help.
